Join us at Wanderwood in their beautifully renovated 1850s barn in Nobleboro for a cozy evening of creativity and connection. Led by South Bristol artist Erica Qualey, these winter workshops (aka art parties) are the perfect way to unwind, explore your creative side, and enjoy good company.
Mix and match stitching, colors, and surface patterns in this hands-on bookbinding workshop where you'll craft beautiful, personalized books using the traditional Japanese stab binding technique, also called "Yotsume Toji" in Japanese. Combine vibrant fabrics, papers, and stitching patterns to create both hard and soft cover books! These books are perfect for sketching, journaling, note-taking, or gifting. Each guest will leave with their own unique and beautifully crafted book. This workshop is for seasoned crafters and complete beginners alike!
Sip complimentary wine and snacks while creating your own unique artwork. No experience required, and all materials and instruction are included. Come solo or bring a friend for a relaxed and inspired night out.

December 4, 2025, 6 - 8 pm - Create Your Own Wrapping Paper! Learn simple and fun lino block carving and stamping techniques.
January 8, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - German Window Stars! Brighten dark winter days with colorfully patterned window transparencies.
February 12, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - Japanese Stab Book Binding! Mix and match stitching, colors, and surface patterns in this hands-on bookbinding workshop.
March 12, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - Ukrainian Pysanky Egg Decorating! Practice the art of Ukrainian egg decorating with vibrant dyes and beautifully intricate patterns.
April 9, 2026, 6 - 8 pm - Screen Printing Workshop Learn techniques to print your own custom designs onto paper or cloth.
Space is limited, so don’t wait to reserve! Tickets for each class are $75, or $350 for all five. These classes are limited to adults over the age of 18 with a parent guardian, or 21 without. Please note that all sales are final and we are not able to offer refunds after purchase. You may transfer tickets to another guest if you cannot attend. In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, we will try to reschedule for another date and will return your ticket price if you’re unable to attend.
